Glen Fritz is an emerging Lighting Designer from the Seattle/Tacoma area who is relatively new to lighting design, but very excited and hungry to learn more! Most of his time in theatre has been spent on the stage, but starting in 2021 he has discovered a newfound passion for technical theatre, especially anything and everything concerning lighting.

Glen’s love for lighting comes from the creativity allowed, and also the creativity required by each and every production. He is lucky enough to have Co-Designed multiple Musical Revues, and creating several entirely different looks from the same plot has exposed him to just how creative a lighting designer can be. He has also found a recent position as a lighting designer with Federal Way Performing Arts and Events Center, which has given him exposure to designing for live events and concerts.
Glen’s next steps include doing as much theatre as possible, and continuing to build his experience in a variety of ways, whether that be Lighting Designing, Assistant Lighting Designing, as a Light-Board Programmer, Light-Board Operator, Spotlight Operator, Electrician, or in other areas like Carpentry or being on the stage itself.
